After using an old crappy Dell prebuild for years, this summer I finally got a half decent pc
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
GPU: Radeon RX 570
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
SSD: 512GB SSD
Case: NZXT H510 (love this thing)
Now onto my other stuff
Monitors: 1 Dell 1 Hp 60hz, got them pretty cheap
Keyboard: Glorious Modular Mechanical Keyboard (GMMK) TKL (tenkeyless)
Mouse: Glorious Model D, matte black
Mic: AT2020 USB+
Headphones: HyperX Cloud Alpha
My pc is meh but I dont mind, I mostly play minecraft and other games barely dip below 60fps so its good enough for me. When I upgrade I usually chose stuff like mouse keyboard headphones instead.
Intel core 10700K
GeForce RTX 3070 (founders)
WD Black SN850
Corsair vengeance LPX 4x 8GB
Westinghouse 27" 144hz monitor
(I don't care much about keyboards and mice)
Alienware advanced gaming mouse.
Oh, and I have an old HPw2207h it was my old monitor I use it as a 2nd monitor.
Everything I built myself.
I use it to play Minecraft with RTX and Microsoft flight sim 2020 for that I have a x56 HOTAS

Love my setup but probably spent a little more than necessary on the peripherals. Okay, maybe a lot more.
You definitely won't find me playing your typical triple-A games, so it's more than sufficient for Minecraft and other school tasks.
Really interesting to see the variety of computers people are using.

I do actually think that my setup isn't that bad for 2021, and I'm planning to get a second monitor soon.

I got this laptop last year, and I have been super happy with it. It was magical going from my previous laptop (dual core i3/Intel HD Graphics/4GB RAM) to this beast.
I use a desktop computer that I built myself in the early summer of 2017.
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700X
GPU: Radeon RX 550
RAM: 16gb DDR4-3200mhz
SSD: 250gb SATA SSD
Motherboard: Socket AM4 w/ Chipset B350 from MSI (Arctic, I believe).
Keyboard: Logitech G413 Silver
Mouse: Steelseries Sensei RAW
Display: HP 25es; 1080p 60hz IPS
Headphones: Audiotechnica ATH-M20X
Microphone: Blue Yeti
My computer is fairly excessive, but it was built in response to the frustrations I had with my Macbook before I built it. It didn't have enough CPU power, so I gave it an insane CPU. It was always running out of RAM, so I got way more RAM than I could ever use. My GPU is fairly dinky, but that's because I didn't want to spend money on a GTX 10XX series GPU since I was waiting for the next generation, but by the time they came out (and now that I can afford them), scalping and inventory shortages are so awful I'm just sorta living with it.
macbook and im still better than ppl with 3000 fps
