Today we discuss what's next for the Minecraft server Mineplex, and mainly its community as we know the server will eventually shut down. Let me know what you think about my ideas in the comments or thread replies!
Hello Chris, First off, I want to say that you made a good quality video, so good job on that! It is normal for people now to start predicating and making assumptions on what is going to happen next, the most prominent one being that Java is shutting down. However, my approach to this is a little different; we can't know for sure until we haven't heard anything. Personally, making assumptions and wishing that something happens will just end up stressing you out. Sure, you may not feel it right away, but speculating usually isn't the best thing to do. In the end, the owners decide. They brought this server to us in the first place, and we should be thankful for the memories we made, regardless of what happens. On the other hand, I like some of the ideas you had in the video with re-creating games.
Except player count is still going down its in double digits now and the owners habe shown no effort into improving java for the last few years and once the server gets to where it is no longer profiting at all they will pull the plug. I wish they would invest into mineplex again with more resources but we havent been shown in years any effort.
