Thanks to everyone for enjoying this game with me, it's had its share of ups and downs but I don't really regret any of the time that I spent playing it. While I've not always agreed with everyone in this community whether it be balancing or attitudes (nor have I been the nicest person always), I wanted to give one final good sendoff to to this game I love very deeply and to make sure that I don't regret not playing it when I had the chance. I didn't think I would miss it only a week ago, but I can honestly say that I don't think I will ever forget this game and whether there are remakes or even new games based off of SSM, nothing will feel like Mineplex SSM did for me. If you all have any videos or memories that you'd like to share of the game or memories of people you met through it then share them here (please no mean stuff for once if you can help it).

 

I'm considering participating. I think I would like to play the game one last time while enjoying the tension of a tourney.

 

There were so many friends made in MP SSM that are beyond words for me to contain here. I've spent so many years and hours (+10k games) here and I don't regret it either. All I can say is thank you all for the memories we made along the way, all of you who made my youth epic and a little less lonely. I love you all:

YO I'm glad to make the list Evira. Mineplex SSM will forever be my favorite Minecraft game period. I've loved SSM and its community since I joined some time in 2014 and have made countless friends and memories for me SSM will always be dear to my heart. The state of the server however makes it clear the end is near if not already happened. Idk what's going on but I cant connect on java and the website says there's 0 active but id love a SSM tournament. Hopefully SSM reborn gains more traction?

Yeah sorry to anyone who couldn't make it, it was a spur of the moment thing mostly because the days lined up for the top players and I just wanted everyone to get out for a tournament since I'm not sure how long mineplex has left being functional. If we waited a weekend for next saturday then the servers might be down since a month would have rolled over and who knows if they're even paid for.

If anyone wants to though the discord server is still up if you wanna share memories with other people or hang out, and we'll be running the few final matches on sunday throughout the day when people are ready. Of course we will still be playing games until the servers truly shut down so you can game with everyone aswell. Just add me Space#3169 and I'll give you the invite.

 

We may also be running a teams tournament after this one as well if the server doesn't shut down just for fun and for the people who got knocked out early or missed this one.

I'm gonna miss this game. I've first played this game when I was 12, now I am 21 in college. I played SSM on many different main accounts before they were either compromised or lost through Mojang's data storage. I remember playing with a friend called RoosterVenom who had Legend rank and completed all of his achievements and got the Sir Sheep kit. He mastered that kit and made it so damn OP that it was hard to beat him.

 

I get why necro exists but I don't really care that much lol.

Sorry I missed this, it was a really fun game. If someone would link me reborn that would be cool.
