The following guidelines reference 'Data Points'. If you would like to learn more about these, please click here. Every Speed Builders map must have: A middle platform for GWEN 8 platforms for players to build Barrier blocks completely surrounding the playable area of the map All of the player platforms equal distance from the GWEN/Middle island A non-crowded area where near/on the player building platform Maps cannot be in set at night due to the sponge data points clashing with eachother. Please don't use TIME_SET data points on your map. To make the player platform: In order to make the player platforms, you must create a 9x9 square and then use another block to fill the inside of it. It should look similar to this: You then need to place a YELLOW data point on top of the middle block of the square, looking something like this: Also, you will need to add a GREEN data point with a gold pressure plate that is 1 block in the air and 1 behind the middle of the outer square. This will go on the side that is facing away from the middle/GWEN island. It should like this: To make the GWEN/Middle island: All you need to do is to have a RED data point with an iron pressure plate in the middle of the structure you made, looking like this: If you wish to make Speed Builders mini builds (the ones you actually build in the game itself) then here are some brief guidelines for doing so: You must submit at least 10 mini builds per submission. The mini builds must fit in a 7x7x7 (height x width x depth) area. The build should not be too difficult to complete in the time limit given. If you want to add more time to the build, please say so on a sign. Do not use more than 9 different block types. Do not use gravel or sand in the floor. Please leave a sign with the mini build name somewhere clearly above or in front of the mini build.
