Over the past couple days I have been working on replicating the map Seaside from CS:GO for Mine-strike and am looking for some feedback regarding aesthetics and game-play. Half of the map is situated over a dock, so there were several locations on the map that I had to modify in order to eliminate the water hazards (areas in which the player can walk off the map into the water). Below are links to screenshots that I took of the map and posted on Imgur (there are around 50 of them): Map Layout: https://imgur.com/a/mFSiIut Flyover: https://imgur.com/a/2VJkcI0 Data Points: https://imgur.com/a/zjWTsmA First Person: https://imgur.com/a/KmuHKwH Barriers: https://imgur.com/a/ewaFyuO Screenshots from CS:GO for comparison: https://imgur.com/a/97MWYTa Final note: I managed to eliminate all water hazards, but there are several fences in which the bomb could be thrown over top of. Since other maps contain obstacles that the bomb can be thrown on top of, I decided that this wasn't a significant enough issue to make me change it, as doing so would sacrifice the aesthetics of the map anyways. However, I would love to hear what others think about it.
