Open Staff Interviews!

I like how you're looking to interview a lot of different staff members. Even if half of these potential interviewees decline your offer, you'll still be left with so many who are willing. I've taken part in two staff interviews - one was recorded when I was a Trainee and the other when I was a Moderator. I can testify to how enjoyable they are to do and it improves your relationship with the community as they feel more connected to you, having learned at least one new thing about you. A lot of staff members like to remain more 'behind the scenes' and quietly carry out their work on the moderation team or their Sr. Mod team, so I'm looking forward to hearing from some of them who aren't in the public eye as often.

One thing I would advise is that you add some sort of unique element to your interviews and make them stand out from all the other staff interviews. As you most likely know, interviewing staff members has been a trend for a while and there's been plenty of people who have hopped on it before you. Some are almost routinely interviewed so it's even more important that you put a creative spin on a QnA session with them. As I mentioned above, I've taken part in a few interviews, so if I was to do another I would certainly like it to be different to the rest. In one of them I particularly liked how the interviewer carried out some research on my staff journey and developed questions centered around it. TL;DR, preparation is key. Know your interviewee!
