Nanogame: Bombers, questions... how many blocks range is the TNT?, do walls protect from TNT?, etc.

Discussion in 'Nano Games' started by CreativiTimothy, Jan 11, 2021.

  1. I've been scouring the Internet for a wiki of how the game works, but I could not find a single Google search result.

    1) What is the block range and shape of the TNT explosion? Suppose a 3x3x3 TNT is placed, and currently the game says "TNT explosions are now 4 blocks. Is it 4 blocks in every direction from each side? Suppose we have a coordinate grid with the 3x3x3 TNT placed at the center, if it is 4 blocks from each side, is the total explosion range a square that has sides 3 (the tnt itself) + 4 (4 blocks) * 2 (each side) = 11-per-side square centered at the origin of the TNT? Here's an image showing my guess to this question, where red is the TNT, and orange are areas where you would die if you were within range of the TNT (https://i.imgur.com/ODC2gxi.png): [IMG]

    2) Do walls protect you from TNT explosions? I notice many players, even when it says the TNT would explode 5 or 6 blocks, would stand behind a wall 4 blocks away from the TNT and not die. They usually won and appeared to be pros. I want to see verification if my hypothesis is true. Suppose TNT explosions are currently 4 blocks. If a player stands in the green area with the question mark behind the purple wall, where the red TNT is behind, would the player be safe from the explosion? (https://i.imgur.com/Vzr14cl.png):

Thank you. Also it would be nice in general if each game mode had its own wiki so you could learn how to play it without trying to test and figure out tall the mechanics of the game.
