Is there a difference between "good players" and "tryhards"?

  1. Hi

In my opinion there's quite a significant difference. As someone who plays Cake Wars Duos on the regular just for fun, I have come across many people who absolute tryhard that game and my party and I always leave the game when we see them in there. Oftentimes tryhards are toxic, closet cheaters who have dark grey Immortal and dark egirl/eboy skins. You can usually spot them a mile off. Even if they're not any of the above, their want to play the game is revolving around stats rather than actual enjoyment. Usually tryhards are also the type of people to call out someone who just killed them with frosting or archery.

Good players play the game and get good at it naturally, and they aren't toxic if they lose.
