If a match starts with 9 players, why must teams bee uneven?

  1. Why must it start with 4 teams instead of 3?

  2. Even if the game switched to start with 3 teams instead of 4, it would still be unfair for the team with the cake between the other two because then they would be fighting on two sides while the other two teams would have access to a free emerald beacon. The current framework isn't the best but it's sadly a result of games not completely filling up in the first place due to the low player count.

  3. Like stated above that would be the issue with 3 teams, however it is pretty unfair when some teams will have 3 to 4 players and you will be alone or have 1 other player. Sadly there is not much we can do about this. Maybe if you don't want to be on a small team invite friends to a party so your friends can fill up a team with you.

Other than that there's not really any option :( but I'm sure it will get better soon

  4. Another thing to consider is that the team with three is often a party, and that party is a group of prearranged players that usually far outclass the rest who are randomly paired up, making it even harder. And they always end up on red for some reason?

  5. three people in a party would work better than three players placed together?

  6. Well, people would be unable to join 2 sides at the same time, so it is randomly chosen.

Now that I think about it, Why doesn't the server make somebody a playable spectator? or just kick them for not being unequal.?
