How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community? I was formerly an member on the Translations Team, and I am writing up my staff application, so I hope to help improve the Mineplex Community.

 

Just here to stop by but if you were once like me wondering if you should give it a shot then honestly there is only one answer to this question: Yes.
As an Ex-Mentee here I have had so much fun and learned so much from the program that I really wish everyone had an opportunity to do something amazing like this. The people there are extremely friendly and always give you a warm welcome to the program and are willing to help you regardless the situation. There's currently a myth going around that all of the Staff Members here don't care but this program really shows how compassionate and caring they are. I really wish I could re-join but because of life issues that I really can't do anything about, I have to unfortunately leave the program.

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP? I'm an aspiring trainee. The only difference is I've been a staff member on Bedrock before, and I have also been on the CMP before under a plethora of different mentors. I was a member back just before the move to Discord. I want to get what I got when I was still a member. Good experiences and a centre to meet new people and make friends who will challenge you in games and help you practice PVP. I also want people to talk to, as being lonely isn't fun and ever since I left the CMP, I felt alone because I wasn't getting messages from people looking for friends or my mentor checking in on me. I want the CMP to teach me the ins and outs of Java as I've been playing Bedrock for 2 years and I am not used to the new games, items and most of the PVP aspects of the new Minecraft.

How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community? Like I said I was an aspiring Trainee on Java. I want to go for Java because I have my eyes set on Community Management and I've made it my mission to explore the different demographics of the Mineplex community and make sure I can make positive changes to the way updates come out that satisfy all said demographics as a Community Manager. The Mineplex community continually adopts new people without question, as they did with me, and I want to give back to them by making Mineplex an even better place in whatever way I can, whether that be through the staff team or community teams such as the Ideas team which I am also looking into because I can be quite critical and take note of details.

As for what I've already contributed. I was a moderator for Bedrock for a year and did a lot of moderations, more than you'd think to know that most of the Bedrock community is well behaved. I also used to socialise with players through creative housing which gave them a sense that we were here and we were going to enforce said rules, as several times nobody knew what a mod/trainee was.

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP? I am hoping to learn how to become a better community member & maybe even an even more helpful person than I already am. I love helping people and I do so on a daily basis. Maybe, learning tricks and learning tips for the Mineplex trainee application as well. I feel as that some of the things I learn in CMP can help me with a trainee application if I submit one in the future. Also, I'm currently an aspiring trainee so I think that having this experience could really help me in potential future applications, if I decide to apply.
How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community? I help loads of people everyday, I talk on the forums daily with other members of the community (sometimes it's more posts than others depending on how much I'm actually on the server playing with friends.. haha) I plan on becoming an even more helpful & active community member! I hope to see what the CMP brings!

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP? I hope to be a great asset to all areas of the Mineplex community. Through being a part of this program, I wish to learn more about how the community works and what it can improve on, while working under direct leadership that can guide me to make the best decisions I can to better the environment and help others to do that as well. I feel this experience will further broaden my horizons for the future by teaching me how to cooperate and communicate effectively with partners for the betterment of a certain organization/community. I also strive to become a more friendly and helpful person in general. I have struggled with being a kind member of Mineplex in the past and aim to never have to worry about my professionalism or approachability again.
How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community? Recently I have started to be more active on the forums and I find it to be a great place to find help and give it to others when necessary. I have started to become a helping hand on the forums, and I will continue to make people’s experience on Mineplex just a bit better, one post at a time. I try to answer people’s questions when I’m in-game to the best of my ability as well. I always try to be a good sport in any game I play. In the future I hope to become a Java Trainee and take on the responsibilities of a Staff member to lend my assistance to the community even more.

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP: There are a few things I am hoping to receive upon becoming part of the CMP program. Firstly I would like to get to know Mineplex better, I was discussing some topics with a staff member a few moments ago, and I realized how much there is to offer. Secondly, I always enjoy strengthening my ability to help others, and knowing how to do so to the most effective manner can help to extreme levels. There are more reasons, such as aiding new players, or even veterans with their questions, strengthening the community's growth.

How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community: I have contributed in a few ways so far, I am an Eternal, I give suggestions whenever I can and enjoy improving the anti-cheat. There is no task I will not attempt to do to my very best extent, and I will answer any questions others ask of me. If I am unsure of the answer to said question, I will ask a member/staff member who does know, then relay that to the person questioning.

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP: I’ve been playing on Mineplex for over 4 years now. By now I’d say that I know a lot about the server and the community and how it all runs, But there is always more to learn. I’m very interested to learn more about the server and the community and I’m hoping by learning that I can be helpful to players in the community. I’m also looking to apply for Trainee soon, so learning all of this will definitely help me to achieve my goal of getting Trainee someday!


How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community?

When I’m asked a question, I always do my best to answer it correctly. I also use staff request and /report to help staff members to make sure hackers and rule breakers get punished. By learning more about the server and the community I will be able to help players better than before with their questions and problems.

What I'm hoping to get out of CMP:
I really want to catch up on what I've missed out on in the community over the past few years. I joined Mineplex in September 2014, quit in September 2016 and have only returned July this year. Due to such a long absence from the server, I kind of feel out of place in the community. When I rejoined, I found out that almost all my old friends had left, but luckily I made new ones who still support me to this day (you know who you are <3). I feel like being part of this programme will enable me to catch up on what I've missed, whilst also helping me improve my self-confidence (I'm a VERY shy person irl). In addition to this, one day I hope to join the staff team, and obtaining experience from this programme, which appears similar to the trainee mentoring structure (as a trainee you have a mentor and MA, just like in the CMP) could help me quickly settle into life as a staff member potentially in the future.

How have you already contributed to the Mineplex community and how do you plan to contribute further:
As stated above, I hope to join the staff team one day. I'm also looking into joining a bunch of community subteams. Whilst I don't have much experience, I'm looking to use the CMP as a learning opportunity and a pivot in order to help kickstart any further community interaction I may have. I've lately been trying to help out in game by answering questions players have, as well as interacting through the forums more, which is something I'm starting to greatly enjoy.

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP? What i am planning on accomplishing on CMP would have to be bettering myself and being able to ignore the toxicity and to not respond back to it. As of recently i have been muted for responding back to a comment someone had made towards me, and me not having that self control i needed then caused me to be punished for it. Another thing i am hoping to Accomplish on CMP would be, Since i am an Aspiring Trainee i would love to learn ways i can be helpful and things that can allow me to push that dream.

How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community? I have made some progress on bettering myself by trying my best to help the Mineplex Players in any questions they might have and staff aren’t around or available. I plan on continuing to help the Mineplex Community and help myself become a Person where people can come to me if they need help.

Introduction:

I am ddgolfer04 or DD which ever is preferred. As some of you might not know me. My main purpose here is to interact, and help, to the best of my ability, the most inspiring community here! I enjoy extending my knowledge here whether it is learning about the best strategies in games, or even learning about rules and guidelines here. I enjoy both playing in-game and replying to threads on the forums. However, I try my best to stay active on discord to. That is something I could definitely improve on. I try to stay as active as possible to secure that I will keep learning more and more about Mineplex and its community! Now lets get onto the application!

What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP?
There are many components I hope to receive throughout this program. I believe that there are many more than I am going to list. However, these are the most vital things that I would like to get out of this program.

There are many things that I would like to learn that may become complicated towards myself in the future. First, one of my biggest weaknesses is knowing all the rules, and how these rules are executed. As well as punishments, players will receive, towards individual rules. I would also love to go into depth on how to make players feel welcome to the community, and to let them know that this is a place to express themselves! Although, I am a great communicator on the forums and in-game. I would like to boost my self confidence to go above and beyond my voice being heard. I know what I am capable of; however, it would be incredible if I could express my feelings a step forward. I also would like to meet a lot of new people, and staff members throughout this program. I used to have a lot of friends here (the ones who brought me to where I am today). However, they have all left, and feel like they could never be replaced. I would love to find a friend group that wants the best for me, and people I could share my interests in on Mineplex. Lastly, I am a proud aspiring Trainee! I would love to get to know all the components needed to go above and beyond. To secure my knowledge, and to feel confident in my next application! Also, to extend my knowledge here as far out as possible!

Overall, there are a lot of components and key things that I would love to receive from this experience. However, these listed reasons are the ones that I would love to get the most!

How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community?
There are many different things that I have done for the community, and hope to plan on doing in the future! I have tried my best, over the years, to extend the things I do for the amazing community here. I hope that I could keep doing what the community wants from me, and to try new things that the community would enjoy!

To start off, ever since I have finished getting a good enough grasp of the server, and continue to do so, I have tried my best to answer players quick questions that are not directed towards staff members. Even the questions players have that I might not know. I usually tell them to contact a staff member that could help them, or try to answer the question with the amount of knowledge I know. Moving forward, I joined the forums on August 12. Even though that may not be a long time on the forums. I have learned a lot on the forums, and how to maneuver it. I try to answer to as many threads, that seem interesting or ones that I could reply to with a good answer, as much as I can. I have definitely gotten better at my writing skills by doing so. I can definitely see my progress of maturity and professionalism throughout all my reply's to threads. Lastly, about a month ago I join the community "StaffRequest." This made another way to answer players questions in need of support.

Overall, I try my best, no matter the circumstance, to help! I might not have an impact on a players experience, but they always impact mine! I would love to continue growing in ways to help the community here!

Conclusion:

Throughout all my thoughts, ideas, and complete answers throughout this application. I have stayed truly and brutally honest in my answers. I hope I have the means to join this program to extend my knowledge here, and even to become a better community member overall! What are you hoping to get out of participation in the CMP?
I would really love to get more involved in the community and begin making new friends. I am returning to Mineplex from a long hiatus and am really looking forward to getting back into everything. Most of my old friends have left Mineplex long ago (although we still have each other on social media!), and I'm really hoping to be able to make some more amazing friends through Mineplex. I really enjoy helping others in-game as well as on the forums. In the past, I was not very active on the forums but recently I've discovered that I really have a passion for it. I am much more confident in myself than I was in the past and I know that being a member of the Community Mentoring Program will do me a lot of good not only on Mineplex but in my personal and professional lives, as well. Although I think that I've already pretty much gotten back into the swing of things, I would love to get more involved by getting to know the mentors, mentoring assistants, and fellow mentees.

How have you already and how do you plan to contribute to the Mineplex community?
Anytime I see a question or concern whether it be in-game or on the forums, I try my best to address it. If I don't know an answer, I will try my best to research the question so that I can answer it correctly in the future. Something that I'm always eager to do, no matter the setting, is learn. Once I learn something, it usually sticks in my brain and this helps a lot when I'm trying to give back to the community.

Another aspect that I really enjoy about Mineplex is meeting new people, especially people that are new to the server as a whole. I know that when I first joined Mineplex, I found some good friends quickly because they put themselves out there and were willing to talk to, spend time with, and help somebody who was just starting not just Mineplex, but Minecraft, as well. I love experiencing new things and spending time with new and returning members helps me to do just that.

In the future, I plan on continuing to do as I am doing now. I've loved the person I've become since I last left Mineplex in 2015 and have learned a lot since then. I think that it would be amazing to get more involved in the community by joining the CMP as well as a subteam like the Map Testing Team. Eventually, I think it would be wonderful to become a member of the staff team and continue giving back to the community even more. I look forward to my future endeavors regarding Mineplex and am confident that I can make a difference in this community.
