Mineplex is one of the oldest multiplayer networks in Minecraft, having been around for almost a decade. With hundreds to thousands of daily players across both Java and Bedrock, we are constantly searching for new staff to provide our community with a satisfactory experience. Our volunteer staff team consists of many amazing individuals, who come from all over the world and are of all ages.

Trainee is the first rank in our staff team. Trainees are, as the name suggests, training to become a Moderator through the undergoing of a 2 month trial. During this trial, Trainees work with their assigned mentor and learn about the responsibilities of a Moderator. The overall job of our staff members is to ensure that Mineplex’s players have the best experience possible.

Upon becoming a Moderator, our staff members gain the ability to undertake more work by applying to teams & subteams, all of which give these moderators extra responsibilities and tasks. These include subteams, for example ‘Content Creator Council’, ‘Reports Patrol’, ‘Discord Management’, and more! Staff members become a Senior Moderator upon joining one of our major teams such as ‘Staff Management', 'Recruitment', ‘Forum Management’, and more!

Look at the following information to decide if you should apply:

    Your job as a Trainee:
    • Interact and communicate with players.
    • Answer player questions and concerns.
    • De-escalation of arguments or problems that occur.
    • Moderate lobbies and games, enforcing Mineplex’s rules.

    You are:
    • An active Mineplex player with a passion for the network.
    • Highly knowledgeable about the network, specifically it's: history, rules, and games.
    • Friendly and cheerful with a passion for talking and interacting with others.
    • A team player who can also work independently.
    • A strong writer with great communication skills.
    • Highly motivated with a great work ethic.
    • Eager to meet goals assigned to you.
    • At least 13 years old.

    Bonus points:
    • Previous experience with moderating a large Minecraft server (500+ players).
    • Fluency in languages other than English.

We maintain two separate divisions of the staff team - Java (Legacy) & Bedrock (Minecraft). You can only apply for one of these staff teams. However, if you pass your Trainee trial and become a moderator, you may have the opportunity to become cross-platform (you would need to ask your mentor for more information). Cross-platforming allows moderators to be on both divisions of the staff team at the same time.

Please note that you must have created a forums account, verified your email (only Outlook & Yahoo email accounts are currently receiving our emails), and linked your minecraft character in order to apply!

You will receive a response to your application within a month with further information on whether you have been declined or invited to an interview.
