What’s the difference
Hello friends, starting Wednesday for 15 days I will be in Australia. In Australia, I'll be on tour playing Violin. One of the highlights will be playing in the Sydney Opera House on July 6 and many other concerts . In Australia, I do not believe I'll have internet and will definitely not have a computer so I will be completly inactive or very limited. Please understand if I do not respond to DMs or pings while I am away.
i am the best bot developer

If this isn't enough to join GI I don't know what is: https://www.mineplex.com/gi-app PEOPLE
oh hey! whats that good looking server in the way down with deliciouse and quality looking taco pfp
(1) THOUGHTS - I've been thinking lately. We used to have such an active and alive sort of forums where there'd be a large contrast of ideas and suggestions to improve the server. Many threads people could break down parts of the OP's post and make long and rich responses. This kind of feedback was great for Mineplex if the admins/devs/design team/LT listened to it and implemented/included that feedback in their planning. It's really sad that the kind of discussion and feedback that used to be commonplace on the old forums not utilized to the best of its ability. If only we had an involved admin team back then, so many improvements could have been made, and players could have felt like their feedback was appreciated. These days our team is taking steps to try to improve interaction. @EmmaLie works so hard with her team to improve it, and a big factor in interaction is @badstet 's Game Insights team which is wonderful for collecting game-specific feedback and balancing games accordingly. To be perfectly honest, even though I tried so hard back in the old days on the forums to voice my concerns nothing ever came of it. I joined GI discord and immediately starting becoming an advocate arguing for viewpoints that would benefit the player base (or in my opinion do so), and a few of my suggestions have been added to games which is always a good feeling when you see something you've influenced in the changelog. You can get into the GI discord by using https://www.mineplex.com/gi-app if you're wondering (you don't have to write much, just a paragraph for each question can get you in easily). Yeah, allotment of resources is always something on which Mineplex has struggled.
Yeah, you have no say in when it gets updated. That’s the issue.
Agreed. One thing that caused this to happen is that post boosting is much too lenient.
(2) Anyways, back from my tangent about GI. CoM has tried to get feedback up to management so hard, and it's improved since the old days of Enjin there are still some problems that just can't be fixed (and that's a whole different story. To sum it up I don't feel LT listens to CoM as much as they should be and values their own opinions too much more than others, but again that's a whole different thing). Anyways, I'm not trying to improve Mineplex through this post. It's just my thoughts. I wish so much that the old forums' mentality and drastically contrasting feedback could be here. These days we have finally started to take steps to improve LT-Community interaction, but the problem is I just don't feel these forums have the same energy Enjin used to have. These days, it's mostly people proposing ideas that I've already been proposed or QoL ideas that make so much sense there's nothing to reply to except "Hey there! This is a very interesting idea, and something I haven't thought about before, but I'm glad you suggested it! I really think this would be beneficial and would be a great addition to the network, so I hope to see it implemented soon. Have a good day!" That's the problem I've been trying to get at this whole post. The forums have just become so dead with no controversial feedback or ideas that can spark new ones which in turn spark others and create the old place we used to have which so much creativity. The problem isn't only in the players posting. @ClassN and @leo_thya worked so hard with their Community Integrity team (https://www.mineplex.com/groups/community-integrity.97/) to make collaborative, constructive criticism docs and now the discord in which we operate is next to dead because there's just no drive to improve via the forums. (3) Everyone's just demotivated. I'm interested in your guys' thoughts on this. Do you think the forums have become how I described it and if so, why? In my mind, I have my thoughts, but I can't find the right words to express them. I used to actively post on the forums, even before I knew how high up I was on the post count leaderboards. One day I saw I was 6th and was like "wow"! I started to post a lot more and ramp up my activity, but the more I did so, the more I saw my responses becoming the generic quote I put above. There are very few instances where I could honestly write more than 6 sentences on something, and I've always tried to dig deeper and post longer and break down the ideas more but they're all the same type of small QoL ideas that everyone looks at and thinks "oh that's nice, how is that not already implemented". To be honest, that's why my activity has so dramatically decreased in the forums. There's just nothing good to say that would improve an idea. I wish the forums was like the old days where there was so much to do and so much to potential to every single idea that was proposed. So I want to hear everyone's thoughts on this matter below because I do find it interesting. (scroll down to see the next portion…)
You do a good job at being active also lol
