I'd say ranger is worse, as anyone can camp on the high points in CTF with ranger, and on the trees in DOM, and if you are a fissure, rupture, and void ranger you can finish off a sin, but not a tree camping ranger, and even if you use assassin, they have a bit more than half the hp as a ranger and a ranger can run away with stuff like wolf pounce, agility, and disengage, specifically wolf pounce, and assassin is quite weak to being shot by arrows, specifically napalm and explosive ones, so I would rather fight an assassin than a ranger.

Ranger is more of an annoyance than an actual balancing issue. It's good at what it does, but it's not all that useful aside from aiding your team from afar. Sin on the other hand outperforms everyother kit at most skill levels and in most situations, aside from crowd control or like a ranged fight with a ranger (which, even then you can just flash to the ranger and melt them). The only thing making sin not completely broken is that it takes a little bit of skill to use, but once you figure out how to evade properly you really aren't going to get killed outside of overload/longshot or gank fights.

Void still doesn't beat someone properly using evade, fissure is easily avoidable and rupture is just straight up bugged.
