I saw a video of someone using my username and hacking on a server. Turns out its an offline (cracked) network and someone just likes my username I guess. scared me pretty bad haha

With all the cheaters going wild I dont think the "report them on the fourms" is a good enough response anymore. Sure you can do it; and bring them justice. But the damage has already been done, and players experience is ruined. I might sound kinda mean here but I think its mineplex's job to be more active in trying to prevent cheaters and actively seek out devs who can better it.

Like my post earlier where I said: "Another server out there where hacking is allowed, uses a plugin called AAC. And it's been very effective against obvious hacks like bunnyhoping/flight even with developers constantly trying to bypass it for years, it still holds well. I think if mineplex had AAC + gwen (which bans in waves to prevent detection) this could be a way strong combo to help out the PC " it should be highly considered.

I think the whole "incognito mods" actually has some potential on bedrock. Due to the fact that /msg doesn't exist on bedrock, neither do communities. This causes difficulties when trying to communicate with staff members when a certain issues arises.

Also cheaters/abusers aren't dumb, er.. most. If they see that shiny orange tag they are going to disable their hacks almost immediately. Which causes difficulties when trying to acquire evidence. People have countered this idea by saying that staff can just spectate a game, well sure this is effective, but due to limitations of /msg etc.. you can't tell a staff member to join your game right away; which is why it isn't quite what it could be. incognito mods would be in the moment, they wouldn't have to deal with cheaters knowing who they are, and could act on cheaters the moment it hits. This doesn't just apply to cheating though, you could have incognito mods in lobby's as well in order to prevent textual abuse.

Also I think the incognito mods should be a very limited group of individuals with very high trust. We aren't aiming to replace the staff team, just exceed its normal use. My thoughts were just 7 individuals tops. And if this was implemented we would not tell the community, let me give you a couple reasons why to back this up.

-Incognito mods would not have a user name attached to their punishment (hence why this requires VERY high trust) this helps in keeping them anonymous and their presence unknown.

-incognito mods wouldn't even be known to the regular staff team (SR mods and under) as risking their username leaked could cause issues.

-Yes the community will find out about these mods eventually but their names will never be known, this causes a kinda "fear factor" as rule breakers would never know who was a staff member and who was not, hence not wanting to cheat. You can already see this being done in many popular industries like Walmart and Disney, as its quite effective. These are just my ideas:)

I wonder why mineplex doesn't have 2 anticheats. I remember a long time ago they had NoCheatPlus that blocked a lot of obvious hacks, but still had issues. Mineplex really is a virtual home. I took a looong break from minecraft, but just recently i re-joined the bedrock server and the feel, the players, and the action just make the server so much fun. You can just see the time and work put in to this sever by the staff that makes it what it is.
