IT'S FINALLY HERE. The moment so many of you have been waiting for. After many hours of coding, testing, balancing, testing, fixing, balancing and testing I'm super excited to announce that the CHAMPIONS UPDATE is now live! This update includes many bug fixes, a whole lot of balancing and a sprinkling of new stuff. Once again this update is heavily influenced by our community and Champions/Clans GI. But enough talking, I’m sure you’re excited to read the patch notes. It’s a long one so better grab a snack while reading!

  • General Changes & Fixes:
    • Break Fall now negates 0.5+1.5pl fall damage.
    • Resistance renamed to Resilience.
    • Resilience now reduces status effects by 5%+15%pl.
    • Water Bottles now remove status effects when tossed and grants status immunity when used on self.
    • Water Bottles now cost 2 Item Tokens.
    • Water Bottles no longer douse fire or effects on enemies.
    • Players can break their own webs by right clicking.
    • Booster Weapons now give 2 skill levels, but cannot bring a skill more than 1 level over its maximum level.
    • Spawn regeneration is automatically removed 15 blocks outside of the spawn.
    • Added a confirmation GUI to avoid deleting classes accidentally.
    • Players are no longer able to kill the kit selectors.
    • Added /kill
    • Cosmetic particles are now disabled in-game.
    • Removed TDM achievements.
    • 30+ bugs squashed during testing.

  • Assassin
    • Illusion no longer slows teammates
    • Leap now reduces fall damage by 2 at any level (stacks with breakfall)
    • Flash Charges are now gained at 4 seconds at all levels
    • Silence Arrow now has a static duration of 3 seconds
    • Silence Arrow cooldown is now 20-3pl
    • Marked for Death now gives a 10% damage boost on the shot player for 2.5+1.5pl.
    • Marked for Death cooldown is now 20-2pl.
    • Marked for Death: Enemy players that die while under your mark heal you for 1+0.5pl hearts.
    • Smoke Bomb blindness now lasts for 1+1pl seconds.
    • Smoke Bomb now makes you invisible for 1+1pl seconds.
    • Smoke Bomb cooldown is now 45-5pl seconds.
    • Smoke Bomb no longer gives blindness to teammates.
    • Taking 0 damage in Smoke Bomb no longer cancels your invisibility.
    • Recall cooldown changed to 35-5pl.
    • Recall no longer works while slowed.
    • Recall users are now teleported back in time 3+1pl seconds.
    • Recall users now get 2+1pl seconds of Regeneration 3.
    • Added Secondary Recall: shifting and pressing Q now recalls you 1.5 seconds back in time.
    • Secondary Recall can heal a maximum of 2+0.5pl health.
    • Secondary Recall cooldown is 17-2pl.
    • Secondary Recall works while slowed.
    • Combo Attack bonus damage no longer stacks over different targets.
    • Backstab deals an extra damage of 1.5+1.5pl.
    • Shocking Strikes now inflicts blindness for 0+1pl seconds on your first hit.
    • Shocking Strikes bonus has a 6+1pl seconds cooldown.
    • Evade invulnerability frames are now working properly.
    • Evade cooldown is 0 seconds for successful evades and 16 seconds on failure.
    • Assassin’s default kit now correctly displays Evade skill tokens.
    • Arrow damage reduced by 37,5%.
    • Fixed Illusion and Smoke Bomb invisibility not working properly.

  • Knight
    • Defensive Stance now reduces 80% of all damage taken and negates all knockback.
    • Hold Position no longer allows you to jump.
    • Hilt Smash damage and slowness are based on a 150% charge per second at all levels.
    • Level Field now lasts for 6+1pl seconds.
    • Level Field now has a 16-1pl seconds cooldown.
    • Fortitude now heals for a maximum of 1.5+0.25pl health over 3-0.5pl seconds.

  • Brute
    • Flesh Hook cooldown starts once it is released.
    • Flesh Hook velocity now scales on how long the hook is held.
    • Block Toss no longer throws automatically.
    • Block Toss now has a static 1.5 seconds cooldown.
    • Takedown no longer deals damage to the user.
    • Takedown now deals 5+1pl damage.
    • Stampede maximum speed is now 2.
    • Stampede now deals 0+0.25pl damage.
    • Colossus now negates 33% knockback from arrow and melee attacks.
    • Colossus users now deal 0.5 less damage.
    • Colossus users take no knockback when sneaking.
    • Brute’s default kit now correctly displays Crippling Blow skill tokens.
    • Intimidation is now activated by pressing Q.
    • Intimidation lasts for 10+1pl seconds.
    • Intimidation gives all enemies within 10+1pl blocks of you Slowness 1.
    • Intimidation cooldown is now 15-1.5pl seconds (starts after the effect ends)
    • Added audio, XP bar and visual clues for Intimidation.

  • Ranger
    • Wolf’s Fury cooldown is now 17-2pl.
    • Wolf’s Fury now applies Strength 4 at all levels.
    • Wolf’s Fury duration is now 2+2pl seconds.
    • Wolf Pounce now works on slabs, lily pads and fences.
    • Explosive Arrow cooldown is now 22-2pl.
    • Pin Down now disables running and jumping.
    • Pin Down cooldown is now 3.5+.5pl seconds.
    • Overcharge now charges at 45%+10%pl per second.
    • Overcharge arrows now fly 5%+5%pl faster at maximum charge.
    • Overcharge arrows now deal up to 1.5+1.5pl extra damage.
    • Vitality Spores now activate at 8 seconds.
    • Barbed Arrows disable sprinting and natural regeneration for 2+1pl seconds.
    • Barbed Arrows now apply slowness for 3+1pl seconds.
    • Heavy Arrows now do 30% self knockback at all levels.
    • Heavy Arrows now make your arrows travel 20% slower in all levels.
    • Longshot now has a 7-1pl seconds cooldown.
    • Longshot no longer has base damage reduction.
    • Longshot damage bonus cap at 12.
    • Longshot arrows fly 20% faster.
    • Longshot will not be activated if the player is shifting.
    • Added audio and chat clues for Longshot.

  • Mage
    • Default build is changed to Inferno 3, Fire Blast 3, Immolate, Magma Blade 2 and Break Fall 2.
    • Blizzard base mana consumption is now 31-1pl per second.
    • Blizzard no longer creates snow.
    • Inferno’s mana cost is now 35-1pl per second.
    • Inferno damage increased.
    • Inferno no longer ignites teammates.
    • Rupture can now be used in all surfaces.
    • Rupture now uses sprinting particles.
    • Static Laser maximum damage increased to 6+2pl.
    • Static Laser base cooldown reduced to 9.5-0.5pl.
    • Fire Blast now costs 54-4pl mana to cast.
    • Fire Blast direct hit damage increased to 4+1pl.
    • Lightning Orb now costs 53-3pl mana to cast.
    • Lightning Orb’s fuse time is now a static 1.7 seconds.
    • Arctic Armor no longer creates snow on the ground - replaced by particles.
    • Arctic Armor now gives Resistance 2 to the player.
    • Arctic Armor now costs 11-1pl mana per second.
    • Ice Prison cooldown decreased to 15.5-0.5pl seconds.
    • Ice Prison now lasts for 4 seconds.
    • Immolate no longer gives weakness to user.
    • Immolate now gives Fire Resistance 2 for teammates in a 6 blocks radius.
    • Void now consumes 8-1pl mana when hit while active.
    • Glacial Blade now consumes 11-1pl mana to cast.
    • Magma Blade increased damage to 0+1pl.
    • Null Blade now gives 4+2pl mana per successful melee strike.
    • Life Bonds now consumes 25% of your health given to teammates while active.
    • Life Bonds now transfer health 25% faster.
    • Life Bonds users now get healed 0.25+0.25pl hearts by melee hit.
    • Life Bonds now consume 9-1pl mana per second.

Friend-only Messaging
With this update we’re also working on user safety. We added a preference in Social Preferences for friend-only messaging. When this is on you will only be able to receive PMs from people on your friends list. This preference is ON by default and we recommend keeping it that way!

INFO: I’m sure some of you are wondering what 0.5+1.5pl etc means. The first value would be the base value for the skill, the +1.5pl means that every level tier will add 1.5 value (pl = per level)
