Official Becoming a Trainee 2: Train Harder

Discussion in 'Mineplex Guides' started by Islendingurinn, Feb 3, 2017.

  1. I agree. I bet there are several people who had successfully become staff members after they had proved that they had matured a lot. That being said, if you ever wish to join the staff team, don't give up so easily and make sure to show to the Recruiters that you've learned a lot during your ban.

  2. Wow as cliche as this title sounds, it actually helps a lot!

  3. Isn't this the work of several recruiters, though? Firestar definitely deserves credit, but I think a lot of people helped work on it.

  4. I asked and it turns out it was just firestar

  7. 1. ) You can always bypass this by showing you are mature and ready for the position. Follow the Underage process for more info!

    2. ) You wouldn't be able to apply as the trial is two months and just suddenly leaving after two weeks, not being here for two weeks.

    3. ) I don't understand what you mean. Your goal as a staff member is to provide the best customer service you can to all as said in the thread.

    Any other questions, PM me!

  8. When applying for a staff position you are required to have enough time to dedicate to your job (after all, being staff is a lot like part-time volunteering) - if you cannot be consistently active you are probably not even going to make it past the observation stage. Irregular breaks (like vacations) are permitted on the staff team and your trainee trial will be paused during this time. If after some time you notice that activity is becoming too large of a problem for you, resignation is also a choice. But while on the staff team, you will need to adjust to being monitored on a weekly basis - failing to be active can result in a warning by the mentor / monitor.

Being underage is not a big issue, it only means you have to prove yourself a bit more. Normally people under 14 years old are not capable of staffing on Mineplex, but there are always exceptions.

I also feel the need to point out that you will not be accepted onto the team with grammar that is too poor. Have that in mind while writing your application, and use help from a proofreader or an app if needed.

    Good luck!

  9. You can always bypass it, as it was heavily mentioned in the thread you have a high chance of that. A handful of people happened to become staff members because their determination and maturity carried them on their journey, such as Oscaros_, who became a Trainee at around 12 or 13 and (before he resigned) was a Forum Ninja while still under the 14 age requirement.

As @eOverdog said above me, the trial is 2 months to determine if you are "worthy" enough to be promoted upon your characteristics. Leaving for 2 weeks will interrupt your trial, if you choose to apply and get accepted into the stage of trainee, and a few things can happen from there as far as I've heard.

Technically no, you can do that all as a community member. But that isn't the point of being a staff member. It is to ensure the best experience for the Mineplex community, a positive light, and a contribution only known under the book's cover.

If you feel you're all good, just keep trying once those worries are aside!

  11. You can just ask a recruiter in PMs if you want to get the best answer. Them being former staff does not necessarily mean they know best about the process as they are more than likely to not have been on recruitment before. Even if they were, things may have changed, the best option is to talk to a current recruiter privately.

  12. If you don't seem to be able to find the time in your schedule to dedicate to staffing, no worries - the community will be glad to have a helpful community member, which is the mindset you seem to have. To answer your question, yes, I was a staff member accepted underage (June - December 2017). The process has been made much easier for the applicant in the mean time, therefore if you manage to resolve your current issues, I highly encourage you to give it a go.

  13. Being a staff member doesn't make a difference in whether you can help players or not. You can still always provide the best costumer service you can to all even if you don't have a rank. If you ever have to talk about that situation, my private messages are always open!

  17. I have a question, so if I get accepted for the application and get denied for the interview will I have to restart the whole thing or just the interview stage. Another question is that how many stages are there. Thank You!

  18. Yes, if you were denied for something to do with the interview stage after being interviewed like having a Poor Interview, you would have to submit another application after your cooldown ends.

For Java there are three stages; Application stage, Interview stage and observation stage and on Bedrock there's only the Application and Interview stage. You can open the "Standard Application Process" spoiler on this thread to read more about each stage.

  20. It’s best to message them via the forums, you can find the full list of members that are part of the Recruitment team at www.mineplex.com/staff under “Recruitment”. Please make sure you include a link to your application in your message.
